“Our first dance song was only ever released online, so Sol had a single record cut just for us. It's framed in our hallway now. The floor under those mirror balls never emptied.”
“Tom's dad hasn't danced since the eighties and Sol had him out there for the whole last hour. She drove down the day before, set up in the heat without a single complaint, and the sound in that tipi was beautiful.”
“People started booking tables for the last hour of sun just to hear her, which has never happened here before. Every Sunday she played was busier than the one before.”
“We wanted our wedding to feel like a Sunday lunch that got out of hand, and Sol understood that straight away. My nan asked her what was playing three times and wrote every answer down on a napkin.”
