A message from Kiko TanePosted 16th April 2026Chloe and her team wanted the runway reveal to feel like a moment, not just a change of song. We worked on it together for three weeks.
I made a custom intro that started with the label's own soundscape and built over ninety seconds into a heavy drop. The lights went to black on my cue, the first model walked on the drop and the violet confetti came down at the same time. After the show I played three hours of disco and house for the after party.
Carriageworks is a huge space with a long echo, so in soundcheck I worked with the production team on speaker placement to keep the intro clean right to the back of the room.
