A message from Kiko TanePosted 22nd May 2026Priya and Dev wanted a DJ who could play Bollywood properly and house properly, without the night feeling like two different parties. That is exactly the kind of brief I love.
It started outside with the baraat. I ran a portable rig behind the dhol player so the procession had music all the way to the doors. Inside, Rhea Kapoor hosted, and we planned every entrance, speech and family dance performance together on one run sheet.
For the reception I blended Bollywood classics with house, moving between them in the same key so the floor never broke. When the bhangra set hit, Dev's uncles took over the middle of the room and did not leave it until the last song.
